About Vantage Point
Our Mission
Vantage Point Reporting was started because we believed our customers deserve practical, tailored reports that help body corporate committees rather then leaving them scratching their heads. We pride ourselves on taking the time to understand each scheme we work not only the property but the people.
We prioritizing meeting committees on site, discussing concerns and talking through our observations to ensure understanding and preventing nasty shocks when the reports are received.
As a VPR client you are always encouraged to contact us directly with any questions, our aim is to work with schemes for many years to assist with creating safer, better managed communities.
Vantage Point Reporting understands that committees are volunteers and scheduling can be difficult, we are always happy to work with you regarding the best times for site inspections.

Our Team
Douglas Newstead — Founder
Douglas grew up in England and after completing his Civil Engineering studies at University College London, left the UK with no real aim but to see something difference. After stints working and traveling across numerous continents, Douglas found himself in Australia and couldn’t see himself leaving.
Now living in Brisbane, Douglas and his partner Cait have 4 wonderful and dynamic children that keep them both extremely busy but enrich their lives every day. Douglas is looking forward to rekindling his love of golf and rock climbing during a midlife crisis when the children are teenagers.
After building over 5 years of experience writing reports for body corporate committees across Queensland, Douglas saw a gap for a company that priorities transparent thoughtful reports that provide clarity and confidence in the information provided.
With his experience and expertise across engineering, fire safety and workplace health and safety your scheme is in good hands.
